Attention Ambassadors!

We have a group of Higher Education visitors coming to Syracuse for programming on May 14th & 15th (seven men from Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Sudan & Yemen, plus three interpreters).
We will be renting two minivans to transport them to their meetings and Ruth needs one volunteer driver each day to help her with this task. Hours will be approximately 8am-5pm each day. Please let us know if you are interested/available for either day (or both!) by leaving a voice message at the office (315-471-0252) or emailing Ruth at RRagonese@ICSyracuse.org and we will get back to you with all the details!

The International Educator Award: This award recognizes an outstanding educator whose teaching, research, creative work, scholarship or services have significantly promoted global learning outcomes among students in a college or school setting.
The International Student Leadership Award: This award recognizes an outstanding foreign or U.S. student who has demonstrated leadership excellence in promoting global perspectives and cross-cultural understanding on a college campus.
The International Immigrant Award: This award recognizes an immigrant/refugee who is an exemplary ambassador for cross-cultural understanding in Central New York and/or has contributed significantly to improving human welfare in his/her country of origin. An immigrant group or organization is acceptable.
The International Humanitarian Award: This award recognizes a not-for-profit or for-profit organization for its commitment to improving the lives of immigrants/refugees in Central New York and/or for promoting human welfare outside the United States.
The International Citizen of the Year Award: This award recognizes and honors an outstanding individual whose life-time achievement has had a global impact. The fields of achievement include but are not limited to business, culture, education, government, medicine, research, sports, and/or community service.
