A message from the International Center of Syracuse…we have an event coming up!

Wine Tasting at Vinomania

Saturday, March 5th at Vinomania

313 E Willow St (Pearl St Entrance) Syracuse, 13202

4 PM – 6PM

The International Center of Syracuse is hosting a wine tasting at Vinomania on Saturday, March 5th from 4 PM – 6PM as a part of our effort to build bridges across cultural and national boundaries. This is an opportunity to enjoy samples of wine, Salt City Coffee, Lune Chocolat, and other local food; as well as a chance to learn about ICS from board members and volunteers.  ICS brings groups from around the world to Central New York for educational exchanges, as well as hosting evens to bring the diverse communities of Syracuse together.

One dollar of every bottle sold will go to benefit the International Center of Syracuse.

Two great opportunities to meet our international visitors are coming up!

First, we have a group of broadcast journalists (seven visitors from seven different countries) who want to attend the Syracuse Chiefs baseball game vs. the Rochester Redwings on Tuesday, August 25th. We are hoping to have some folks join them at the game.  You will need to purchase your own game ticket ($5 general admission) and refreshments.  The game begins at 7:05 pm and we are anticipating that the group should arrive around 6:30 pm.

Please email (rragonese@ICSyracuse.org) or call (315-471-0252) Ruth at the ICS office if you would like to go along, and also indicate if you might be able to transport some of the visitors from the Marriott Hotel in Armory Square to the ballpark and back.

Second, we will once again be hosting a group of Open World (www.openworld.gov) delegates from October 2-10, 2015.  This group of media professionals is all men, ages mid-thirties to mid-forties, working in broadcast and/or print journalism.

If you are interested in being a home stay host for this program, please email Ruth (rragonese@ICSyracuse.org) or Vicki (mail@ICSyracuse.org) at the ICS office for further information.

Thank you for your interest and support!  We appreciate your help!
